Secante is a company positioned on the market of the lighting and the lamp, as designer and making of customized products or standards. We exist for 27 years, we are established on the market well French, but also on the international stage: our know-how is recognized, in particular in the «custom-made product».

The market of the lighting and the lamp is very vast and includes very different jobs.
In this market, with a segmentation which differs according to sources, the Secante company is positioned on the market of « the architectural lighting », characterized by:

  • A manufacturing on prescription of an architect or « the architectural lighting »,

1989: Creation of the Secant company (society)
Secant is at the origin of the Group SC, created by Stephan CLOUT, grandson of Henri CLOUT and son(sons,thread) of Jacques CLOUT, what makes the 3rd generation in the lighting since 1927
2006: Secante is the first French manufacturer to build a clean room for the integration of the LED, in appropriate environment intended for the said lighting “custom-made product
2008: opening in Asia filial dune based in Hong-Kong
2013: creation of a new subsidiary in Canada
2014: opening of a new production site (Saint-Quentin in Aisne).
2016: Opening of a branch in Germany
